His work often features the hourglass figures of strong, independent beauties in both vintage and modern garb. This show is the exception, only in that other artists have been asked to dress up these 'dolls' for him. Wheeler has created a series of near life size paper dolls in which a group of his peers, specializing in various mediums, have tailored the outfits to fit her moods. Visitors to the gallery are encouraged to mix and match these pieces as we play 'dress up' this February at The S.P.A.C.E. Gallery.
