Local artists
Anne Unangst, Cindy Griffith, and Marcia Hill are
exhibiting at the Vermont Governor's Gallery January through March,
2013. Here is a statement about the exhibit:
Have you ever wondered what makes for artistic vision? In “Eye of the
Beholder,” every scene in the show is painted by three
local artists. Cindy Griffith, Anne Unangst, and
Marcia Hill are all fairly representational artists, but each has a unique way
of approaching a painting. In this show, there is a small photo of each
landscape shown with the three paintings
done by each
artist that it inspired. It’s an interesting way to see how beauty is
truly in the “eye of the beholder.”
