River Arts "Portraits" Exhibit

River Arts is pleased to present "Portraits," an exhibit of photography, drawings and paintings created by young women from the
Learning Together Programs, part of a collaboration between
River Arts and the Lamoille Family Center. The exhibit will be on display at the Morrisville Post Office, March 12 - April 29, 2014.
"Portraits" is the culmination of work produced in a portraiture workshop led by artist
Kelly Holt at the River Arts Center. Participants studied the work of visual artists Cindy Sherman, David Hockney, Annie Liebovitz, Milton Avery, Andy Warhol, Alice Neel and others to inform their exploration of self-identity through various media.
The Learning Together Program operates through the
Lamoille Family Center as an alternative educational school providing academic support, parenting skills and childcare for teen girls.River Arts, a nonprofit organization dedicated to enriching the community through the arts, is located in Morrisville, VT. For more information, contact:
