The Vermont Alliance for Arts Education (VAAE) is asking dance, music, theater, and visual arts students and teachers to make 5 minute videos this summer about “What has helped you learn about, and develop in, your artform?” More details available at their website.
VAAE would like to give a small premium/gift to each person who uploads a video, and thinks that the BEST thing to give would be art! This is where YOU come in. VAAE is looking for artwork (Note cards? Color copies of digital work? Some small craft from your Etsy shop?) valued at around $10 more or less.
Here's how it works: You send a jpeg of the item you’d like to donate (5 or more of the same item, please) to info@vaae.org (describing size, materials, value, artist or business name) and VAAE will put it up on their website as a premium, with a link to your website, Etsy shop, or whatever link you want. When someone chooses your item, VAAE will send you that person’s email address, and you will make arrangements to mail the premium to them. The benefit to you is publicity for your site (and item), and a recipient who loves your work and goes on your mailing list! Win-win all around!
