This fall’s open studio at Miller's Thumb Gallery features mixed media artist Kathy Stark who is fascinated with patterning and the visual image created by repeat images.
The Miller’s Thumb will showcase work from her Interior Landscapes series which uses ink, graphite, colored pencils, watercolor, acrylic paint, glazes, tints, stains and a variety of wallpapers, decorative papers, photographs, and text. Stark will also display some of her new work which explores patterning using encaustics.

In addition to Stark, the Miller’s Thumb offers visitors a stunning collection of jewelry, pottery, glass, wood, fashion, textiles, photography, paintings and sculpture by some of the finest studio artists living in Vermont. The Miller’s Thumb Gallery, open seasonally Memorial Day through Columbus day, is housed in a former grist mill by Caspian Lake.
