Experience the quintessential summertime adventure as Edgewater Gallery proudly presents their most recent exhibit, LOCOMOTION: reflections from the American road trip. Five painters - Jeff Bye, Charlie Hunter, Sara Katz, Sean Thomas and Eric Tobin - explore the hidden backroads and well-worn bridges of the classic American road trip through both nostalgic and contemporary iconography, cityscapes, landscapes, and the places in between.

Also on view, former Hanna-Barbera, Marvel, Disney and Sesame Street artist Anna Dibble exhibits a colorful new collection through July as Edgewater’s Featured Artist of the Month.

Comparing human behavior with that of wild and domesticated animals, Dibble presents a humorous and contemplative view of nonsensical behavior and traits.

An opening reception for both exhibits is planned for Friday, July 8, from 5-7pm in conjunction with the monthly Middlebury Arts Walk. Locomotion: reflections from the American road trip is on view through August 14, Featured Artist of the Month: Anna Dibble is on view through July 31.
