Jacob Martin will be hanging work at the Speaking Volumes record & book shop on Pine St. In Burlington, Vt. On display from May 4th to the 28th, there will also be a reception of sorts on May 4th at around 5pm, though Jacob will be in the building from as early as 3pm (and possibly playing something resembling music). The show showcases 10 prints of digital works from Jacob's current portfolio. Cartoons, Old Videogames and massive piles of cheap retro yardsale junk, as well as a quiet, reserved, somewhat meditative day to day life, inspire the calm, cluttered, and cartooned feel of Jacob's work.
