In celebration of Charlotte's 250th anniversary, Annemie Curlin's paintings offer a surprisingly intimate relationship with the landscape. The aerial view is both familiar and fantastic, a style Curlin self-describes as inspired by the early Renaissance. Curlin has called on her inner romantic and city planner to create this loving homage to Charlotte.
