EAST HARDWICK: Marjorie Kramer and Chelsea Spear at the Whitewater Gallery

Opening: Sunday, September 2,  4 to 7 pm
Show runs through Columbus Day weekend
Sundays only or by appointment

Marjorie Kramer and Chelsea Spear are two friends more than a generation apart who are showing at the Whitewater Gallery in East Hardwick. Vermont is full of unique art venues and this is one of them. In a small old mill town off the beaten track, gallerist James Teuscher has created a pretty space for art - only open on Sundays or by appointment -- a great destination on these beautiful late summer afternoons.

Both Marjorie Kramer and Chelsea Spear's work springs from perception but both sometimes work from imagination. They both love visible touch and color, and in relating their art directly to their day to day lives. They met in Johnson, Vermont.
