The Block Gallery is at the top of the roundabout in the old brick Winooski Block building. This show includes many recent pieces of recycled, repurposed, reinvented eco-art completed during Anne Cummings' studio time this summer as part of the Winooski Redstone Pop-Up Artist Studios. A new series the artist is especially excited about, represented by a self-portrait in the show, is what she is calling "carbon footprint portraits." Save your non-recycleable 'garbage' for a few weeks and send it to her with a photo of yourself that you'd like to be remembered by, and she'll create your very own carbon footprint portrait! (Price negotiable depending on size.)
