Landscapes/The Northeast Kingdom, recent work by Marie LaPré Grabon, is currently on display at Catamount Arts in St. Johnsbury, VT. Included in the exhibit are mixed media paintings and charcoal drawings. All the work represents scenes from around her home in Hardwick, VT. Each piece captures the essence of place and the idea of time and season.
LaPré Grabon received her undergraduate degree from Massachusetts College of Art in Boston, MA, and a graduate degree in drawing and painting from Goddard College in Plainfield, VT. She continues to maintain her studio in her home in Hardwick, Vermont, where she is currently producing drawings, paintings and mixed media works of art.
An opening reception for the artist will be held on Friday, May 13, and is open to the public. The exhibit runs through May 31.
